Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic Outside Sales Executive to become a vital part of our sales force. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating revenue by securing new clients and broadening our customer base within a specified region. This role is essential in advocating for our managed services, fostering robust client relationships, and meeting established sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various lead generation strategies, including cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
2. Conduct in-depth needs assessments to comprehend clients' IT requirements, enabling the delivery of tailored solutions that address their unique challenges.
3. Maintain a strong sales pipeline, effectively manage sales processes, and consistently achieve or surpass sales goals and performance indicators.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to create comprehensive proposals and presentations that showcase the value of our managed services.
5. Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and IT stakeholders, positioning Southeastern Technical Resources as a trusted advisor.
6. Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitive dynamics to identify new business opportunities and effectively differentiate our offerings.
7. Prepare precise sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory analyses to enhance visibility into sales performance and inform strategic decisions.
8. Represent Southeastern Technical Resources at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and expand our professional network.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a relevant field is preferred.
2. Proven success in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in outside sales, ideally in IT solutions or managed services.
3. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and managed services concepts.
4. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
5. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
6. Self-driven and results-oriented, with a commitment to exceeding sales targets and providing outstanding customer service.
7. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. A valid driver's license and readiness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
