Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the growth of the Shrine into a world-class pilgrimage site, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with major donors across the United States and globally.
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff and volunteers, promoting a culture of collaboration and shared purpose.
  • Oversee the organization's infrastructure, including events, finances, technology, programs, grounds maintenance, and human resources.
  • Promote an engaged and active board of directors, ensuring their involvement and support.
  • Prepare and supervise the annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

Requirements:
  • Be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church and its teaching, with a special devotion to Mary.
  • Have previous experience leading a Catholic nonprofit organization or related entity, with a strong track record of donor funding and management.
  • Be a strategic leader with vision, possessing multidisciplinary project skills to drive the development of the Mothers' Shrine.
  • Exhibit excellent written, oral, and public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.
  • Be able to maintain and initiate relationships at the parish, diocesan, local, national, and international level.
  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred in business or a related field.
