About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Acute Hospital Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive work environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of managerial experience in an acute hospital setting, with a proven track record of success in leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required, with a Master's Degree preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Acute Hospital Department, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and services
  • Manage personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Master's Degree preferred)
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of success in quality improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of healthcare financial, regulatory, and payer issues

Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
