Software Development Engineer II: Building Scalable Solutions for Retail Excellence

In this role, you'll join our Autonomous contributor team as an SDE II, working independently and collaboratively to invent, design, and build software that's stable and performant. You'll be proficient in a broad range of frontend, backend, and low-level system technologies and design approaches, knowing when to apply them effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to code reviews and technical discussions
You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from retail data ingestion and payment processing to compliance and seller fees. Your expertise will help us build flexible software without over-engineering, making appropriate trade-offs, and reusing where possible.

BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, ranging from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Our total compensation package includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of non-internship experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
