Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer or Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role involves developing distribution system engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments for the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of our distribution facilities/systems.
Responsibilities- Analyze system design, programming, and modification to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Develop studies of limited scope and prepare data for cost estimations and analyses.
- Run equipment and performance tests, install new equipment, and conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate systems, processes, or facilities to support company objectives using engineering methods.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university.
- Basic knowledge and application of principles in the area of engineering specialty.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Ability to interact favorably with project and work teams.
- Proficient with the use of personal computers and automated tools.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $76,200-$103,100 per year, along with benefits including health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
