Job Title: Database Administrator

In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing best-in-class manufacturing operational technology practices to support the production of cutting-edge water infrastructure products that deliver clean and safe drinking water to communities across North America.

Our manufacturing technologies span the value chain from casting, machining, and assembly to the development of state-of-the-art and next-generation IoT products that monitor, alert, and inform operators of real-time conditions within their clean water distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement site Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and monitoring databases following standardized structures and global granularity.
  • Optimize resource utilization for site databases.
  • Maintain and train MS SQL Standard architecture with site Database Administrators.
  • Ensure the health and stability of all MES databases.
  • Lead the structural maintenance of database indexing, partitioning, and archival with site Database Administrators.
  • Develop and implement large architecture systems for plant use cases.
  • Support the maintenance of databases, APIs, and connected systems such as analysis and reporting systems company-wide.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • 3-5+ years of database administration experience.
  • Expertise in SQL Database Administration, including query optimization and database resource optimization.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Business Intelligence software experience (PowerBI, SSRS, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Suite and Data Analytics Platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with central functional support across a multi-plant network.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable results.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
