Job Title: International Relocation Specialist

Join The International Center team as an International Relocation Specialist and play a vital role in assisting clients with their international or domestic relocation to Indiana.

Job Summary

This position provides direct assistance to clients of The International Center throughout their relocation process. As an International Relocation Specialist, you will be responsible for helping professionals and their families acclimate to Indiana by providing expert guidance through their home search, settling-in process, and related activities.

You will work closely with the Relocation Department to provide excellent customer service to clients, providing direct support and assistance as needed. This may include conducting city orientation tours, researching rental properties, and accompanying clients on school tours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct assistance to clients throughout their relocation process
  • Conduct city orientation tours and provide expert guidance on home search and settling-in process
  • Research rental properties and accompany clients on property tours
  • Accompany clients on school tours and provide support with move-in and move-out inspection reports
  • Maintain timely communications with colleagues and clients through email and cloud-based technology platform
  • Follow all reporting expectations and timelines related to company and client assignments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Real Estate license preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Foreign language fluency is desired but not required
Preferred Qualifications
  • International background, travel, living overseas, or working with global companies and organizations
  • Customer service experience
  • Minimum of 1 year living in the Indianapolis area
Work Environment

The work environment is an indoor office setting with moderate noise levels. The employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme or outdoor weather conditions, or extreme conditions such as humidity, cold, or heat associated with the weather.
