Key Responsibilities
  • Provides initial program orientation to clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders and related personal problems.
  • Assesses clients' treatment needs and assists in developing individual treatment goals.
  • Provides group, family, and individual therapy, skills-based training, and education to clients and their families/significant others.
  • Designs therapy and education services to meet the individual needs of clients.
  • Educates families/significant others on the addiction and recovery process.
Requirements

A Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university and eligibility to be licensed are required for this position.
