Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide recovery-oriented counseling services in group or individual settings. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to individuals dealing with various mental health and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, family, group counseling sessions with clients virtually, in-person at the office, or in school settings.
  • Implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide counseling for issues such as grief, depression/anxiety, chronic pain, and other mental health concerns.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques such as CBT and DBT.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health therapy.
  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues.
  • Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues.
  • Provide prevention-oriented therapy.
  • Implement and review treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • A master's degree and an active license to practice in the state of Kentucky.
  • At least 1 year of mental health experience in a clinical setting.
  • Clinical licensure (LPCC/LPCA, CSW/LCSW, LP/LPA, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in the use of GSUITES and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources.

  • Annual $500 per year for Professional Development Assistance (CEU/Licensure/Conference) for Full-Time or $250 for Part-Time employees.
