Ideal candidates should possess a strong passion for customer service and the restaurant industry, be adaptable to flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, and demonstrate a positive attitude and pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly and professional manner, adhering to the hospitality standards of 40NORTH Restaurants.
  • Assist patrons in selecting menu items and accurately record orders.
  • Retrieve food and beverages from designated areas and serve them according to established procedures.
  • Monitor guests' needs and respond to additional requests promptly.
  • Process payments through the POS system and present checks to guests upon completion of their meal.
  • Support the cleaning and resetting of tables and escort guests to their assigned seating.
  • Collaborate with Bussers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Complete assigned side work as directed by management.
  • Familiarize yourself with menu items and daily specials.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to promote menu items.
  • Ensure all open checks are accounted for at the end of each shift.
  • Apply guest service principles in all interactions.
  • Deliver alcoholic beverages from the bar to tables in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all regulatory and company policies.
  • Exhibit proactive guest service through attentive and positive engagement.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Meet attendance expectations and adhere to company policies.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A strong commitment to customer service is essential.
