Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Med Surg/Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse on our Med/Surg/Tele unit, you will work in partnership with the care team to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to our patients.

Our patient population includes individuals with both chronic conditions and acute illnesses, such as cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, genitourinary conditions, and patients who have just received surgery. This unit is perfect for those looking to expand their knowledge and build a strong foundation in nursing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate excellent care to patients based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
  • Perform duties within the scope of your practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at our hospitals.
  • Work in an inpatient acute setting.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • NIH certification or willingness to complete NIH certification upon hire.
