We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Rose Medical Center. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various medical surgical telemetry units, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize specialized skills and unit-specific competencies to deliver exceptional care in medical surgical telemetry units.
- Supervise and direct the care of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for patient care.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Additional certifications required based on specialty unit (ACLS, PALS, STABLE, TNCC, ENPC, and/or NRP).
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree desirable.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience in acute care, with specialty in medical surgical telemetry required.
