Chemist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Chemist II to join our dynamic Sales industry team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for developing and improving EC coatings, primers, and laminating adhesives for Packaging and Graphics applications.

• Develop and improve EC coatings, primers, and laminating adhesives for Packaging and Graphics applications.
• Drive innovation in EC technology, seeking out new opportunities to expand our product portfolio and increase market share.
• Implement new technologies to improve the quality, efficiency, and profitability of our EC products.
• Contribute to the development of new Intellectual Property opportunities within the EC field.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and translate these into product improvements or new product development.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a lab setting, specifically working with EC Coatings, Primers, and Laminating Adhesives.
• Proven track record of successful new technology implementation within the EC field.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change, with a focus on improving product quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Strong understanding of the sales industry and the ability to work closely with sales teams to understand and meet customer needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Experience with developing new Intellectual Property opportunities is highly desirable.
• Must be detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
