We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in a variety of areas, including pharmacy operations, customer service, and inventory management.
We offer a comprehensive training program to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Our program includes on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and ongoing support to ensure your success.
Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.
- Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills to accurately fill prescriptions.
- Prefer good computer skills to operate pharmacy systems.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
- Prefer PTCB certification.
