Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Lead Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Lead Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor Pharmacy Technicians: Provide guidance, support, and training to pharmacy technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, workflow coordination, and customer service.
  • Ensure Patient Safety and Satisfaction: Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment, ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers.
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy Team: Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy managers, and other team members to achieve business objectives, improve patient outcomes, and enhance the overall pharmacy experience.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT): Must be certified as a pharmacy technician by a recognized national certification organization.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, customers, and team members.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
