Arboriculture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Arboriculture Specialist to join our team at Lewis Tree Service Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree trimming and arboriculture, with experience working on tree crews or clearing crews. As a Line Clearance Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe clearance of trees and power lines.

• Perform actual work functions as a qualified line clearance tree trimmer.
• Direct tree crew when crew leader is away from the job.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the working area.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also assist with:

• Conducting pre-job hazard surveys.
• Assisting with field training or retraining of crew members.
• Maintaining good customer and public relations.

• A total of two years' experience working on tree trimming crews or clearing crews.
• Demonstrate a general knowledge of trees including identification, growth habits, and correct arboriculture techniques.
• Must have a valid driver's license, CDL, and/or medical certificate as required for the vehicle being operated.
