Job Title: Information Systems Security Officer

At Two Six Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of critical information systems through comprehensive assessment and authorization processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to identify potential security threats.
  • Develop and implement effective security controls and countermeasures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to create a secure hybrid-cloud environment.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on security best practices and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our systems remain secure and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity and IT project management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical expertise in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, access control mechanisms, and network architectures.
  • Experience with security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST and CCP.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based security technologies and services.
Security Clearance:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
