Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist II-Child Development Center to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve patients' communication skills, including speech, language, and fluency.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in speech-language pathology.
  • Supervise and mentor speech-language pathology assistants and students to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
