Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist II to join our Home Health team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote effective communication and swallowing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid California driver's license and automobile insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in home health or a similar setting
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
