Job Overview

Madden Industrial Craftsman is seeking a skilled Limited Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the plant's food manufacturing equipment and facility utilities, troubleshooting faulty devices and systems as well as performing preventative maintenance on processing and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and update technical documentation, including schematics and diagrams, as well as following electrical maintenance programs.
  • Maintain and repair automated equipment, including packaging machinery, hydraulic systems, compressor and refrigeration units, freezer doors, scales, electronic boards, hoists, pumps, and other food processing equipment.
  • Ability to take on assigned projects and complete them on time and within budget.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform necessary equipment modification and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures for equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols, practices, and understand GMP and GSP.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Limited Maintenance Electrician, equivalent, or ability to obtain LME license within 90 days.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Read and understand test meters.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance and installation of facility plumbing systems, boilers, air compressors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Basic understanding of HACCP and food safety practices.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 6 months of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • 1 year of maintenance experience.
  • 2 years of electrical experience.
