Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Critical Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Beacon Hill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the critical infrastructure of our data center, ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to field engineers and technicians in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform advanced support activities for all systems and equipment in the data center environment.
  • Inspect and test complex mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Lead in the operation of all data center systems to ensure 100% uptime.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in the data center field, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and devices.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical codes and practices associated with the operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Rack and stack experience, with a strong understanding of CI (Critical Infrastructure) systems.
  • Experience working with switch gear, UPS, generators, PDU, and CDU systems.
  • Strong knowledge of chillers, pumping, building controls, and electrical distribution systems.
