Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Strategy for all organizational equipment and facilities.
- Continuously assess the condition of company equipment to identify potential maintenance needs and enhancements as part of the Preventive Maintenance Strategy.
- Ensure that all buildings, plants, and facilities are suitable for their intended use and provide proactive support and solutions for repairs as necessary.
- Address all facility maintenance requests promptly and in the most cost-effective manner.
- Establish departmental objectives/KPIs and evaluate the ongoing performance of the Maintenance and Fabrication teams.
- Oversee, manage, and direct all Maintenance and Fabrication operations and procedures.
- Supervise and manage all Maintenance and Fabrication personnel by effectively delegating maintenance tasks to appropriately skilled individuals.
- Ensure that maintenance and repair tasks are completed accurately.
- Assist in preparing departmental budget estimates and costs for specific repair projects.
- Conduct monthly inventory assessments.
- Evaluate current maintenance processes to enhance efficiency.
- Utilize data analysis to anticipate and prevent future issues.
- Train new staff in maintenance and fabrication processes and protocols.
- Document and monitor daily progress/error reports.
- Maintain vendor relationships and procure new materials as necessary.
- Enforce all health and safety regulations in accordance with state/federal laws and company policies.
- Complete mandatory safety training sessions as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Reasoning Skills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and innovative reasoning will be essential; applying common sense to effectively meet our operational needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, or crouching.
- Physically capable of conducting inspections and handling inspection equipment.
- Extended periods of reaching with hands and arms.
- Consistent movement of hands, arms, feet, and legs.
