RN-Manager-Nursing -Pediatrics and PICU - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Manager RN at John Muir Health, you will oversee the daily operations of our pediatric ICU, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze productivity and quality outcomes to drive improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor a team of nurses to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to standardize and update policies and procedures.
- Participate in the annual operational planning process to ensure implementation of the operation plan.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling to meet the needs of the unit.
- Master's Degree in Nursing required.
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required.
- Previous experience in Pediatric Intensive Care required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Pediatrics strongly preferred.
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing required.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association required.
- Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center required within 2 years of hire.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Pay Range:
$177, $266,945.00SalaryOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
