Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative services to patients, families, and staff regarding end-of-life and palliative care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff on palliative care principles and practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of palliative care services.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Five years of experience in acute care nursing, with a preference for palliative care experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Palliative care experience.
  • Hospice experience.
  • Advanced certification in palliative care or a related field.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 8 hours a day, with a scheduled weekly hours of 40. The work shift is from 08:00 to 17:00, with no waiver.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $104.26, with the opportunity for salary adjustments based on experience and licensure.
