Job Title: Plumber

Southern Air, Inc. is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and public buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Work with a team to complete tasks and projects.
  • Use specialized machinery, equipment, and tools to repair and install plumbing systems.
  • Assemble and install valves and fittings.
  • Determine the functionality of water supply networks and waste drainage systems.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a plumbing apprentice or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
  • Journeyman or Master Plumbers License preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this job include frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently. The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
