Responsibilities:

  • Enact standards of practice and professional performance, consistently demonstrating core competencies of advanced practice nursing and specialty-specific competencies.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices, staying up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or closely related field, with a minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
  • Department-specific certifications, such as BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, TNCC, and TCAR, within one year of hire.
  • CPHON or ONC certification for APNs administering chemotherapy within one year of hire.
