About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Thermon, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble heated blankets according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fit and secure components.
  • Install heating elements, sensors, and insulation materials.
  • Inspect assembled products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform functional tests on heating elements and electronic components.
  • Report any assembly issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School and/or trade school is a plus but not required.
  • One year of related experience in a fast-paced business environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform repetitive work on a manufacturing team.
  • Follow procedures and policies.
  • Work overtime when necessary.
  • Make suggestions and implement ideas to become more efficient.
  • Reliable problem solver.
  • Flexible in moving to work to another area when needed.
  • Work on machinery if needed.
  • Be a team player.
  • Notifying your line lead of any issues that prevent you from performing your job.
  • Being back on time from scheduled breaks.
  • Being on time to team huddles after scheduled breaks.
  • Being flexible to train and work in other areas.
  • Clean up workstation/work area during clean up time.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
Physical Demands
  • Transporting blankets as needed.
  • Standing for extended periods (9+ hours).
  • Lifting loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
