We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Pract Pediatric II to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Certificate, or Masters Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
