Job Summary
At University Health, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in respiratory care principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and effectiveness of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in respiratory therapy or a related field.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification with the Texas State Board of Health.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
