Operations and Support Engineer

Network and Data Solutions Integrators (NDSI) is seeking a highly skilled Operations and Support Engineer to join our team. As an Operations and Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation by providing operational support to mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Support existing regional staff to ensure applications and services running on-premise are functioning as expected.
- Serve as Tier 3 CONUS operations support to address technical issues or high-impact incidents in conjunction with regional staff and leads.
- Capture "Lessons Learned" from incidents in the form of after-action items providing feedback to the development team for fixes or enhancements.
- Communicate across teams when an incident requires input and/or resolution from externals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- 8+ years of related software development experience.
- Proficiency in system administration and maintenance.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
- Experience with Containerization and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Basic experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Capacity to make decisions under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and convey technical information effectively.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly.
- Experience managing container platforms.
- Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to troubleshoot Postgres Databases.
- Familiarity with graph databases.
- Familiarity with messaging systems.
