Job Title: Project Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Geologist to join our team at Terracon. As a Project Geologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting subsurface field and sampling data to develop conclusions concerning environmental site conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering and environmental scientist staff on projects to ensure high-quality results.
  • Oversee and conduct field monitoring and environmental testing of soils, including subsurface investigations and soil type classification.
  • Prepare written plans and reports related to environmental site investigations, assessments, and remediation activities.
  • Develop and implement technical requirements to complete client projects by conducting field work and/or directing and supervising field staff.
  • Evaluate environmental laboratory and field data and assemble in written reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field and 5-7 years' related experience.
  • Certification in the field of expertise.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
