Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Associate/ Customer Service Team Leader to join our team at GPM Investments, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing sales floor operations, and leading a team of sales associates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Manage sales floor operations, including stock replenishment, merchandise presentation, and visual merchandising.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with shift change, counting money in the cash drawer, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Process specialty products, such as money orders, credit card purchases, and lottery sales.
  • Check identification for restricted sales and maintain a secure environment.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, restrooms, and parking lots, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Stock shelves, rotate and front-face stock, and remove damaged or out-of-code merchandise.
  • Check in vendor deliveries and complete bad merchandise forms.
  • Order merchandise and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Complete training evaluations and provide feedback to management on training programs.
  • Monitor cash levels and security procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned to accommodate store operational needs.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
