We are seeking an experienced licensed surveyor to become the newest Director of Surveying for our Nashville, TN office.

Job Summary:

The Director of Surveying will be responsible for leading and managing a team of surveyors, overseeing departmental operations, and driving business growth in the Nashville market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of surveyors to achieve departmental goals
  • Oversee departmental operations, including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Participate in business development and generate new business opportunities in the Nashville market
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and communication
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive
Requirements:
  • Possess a PLS/RLS license, ideally in the state of TN
  • Have experience growing, developing, and managing a surveying department

  • Have a strong understanding of industry standards, business operations, and regulatory requirements
  • Be an effective communicator and leader, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
