Job Overview

The Recovery Center of Tennessee, LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated Community Outreach Specialist who is passionate about enhancing community health and accessibility to resources for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders. This pivotal role focuses on elevating awareness of our services, nurturing community collaborations, and participating in local events to further our mission.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement
  • Act as a representative of The Recovery Center of Tennessee at various community events, health fairs, and relevant gatherings.
  • Identify and engage in community initiatives that align with our organizational mission.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
Outreach and Education
  • Disseminate information regarding our programs and services to community members and potential clients.
  • Facilitate presentations and workshops aimed at educating the public about substance use disorders and available resources.
Partnership Development
  • Forge and maintain partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and other relevant entities.
  • Collaborate with partners to create a comprehensive care system for individuals facing substance use challenges.
Tracking and Reporting
  • Monitor outreach activities and outcomes, including events attended, partnerships formed, and referrals generated.
  • Provide regular updates on outreach efforts and their effectiveness.
Referral Generation
  • Identify opportunities to generate referrals to The Recovery Center of Tennessee.
  • Follow up with individuals and organizations expressing interest in our programs and services.
Qualifications
  • Experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Genuine passion for assisting individuals with substance use disorders and promoting community health.
  • Graphic design skills for digital marketing are advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation

This position offers an hourly wage starting at $17 per hour.
