Worknet Staffing Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As an integral member of the Engineering team, this position is responsible for planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
  • Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of projects.
  • Maintain budgets and make adjustments according to needs as they arise.
  • Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
  • Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.
  • Ad Hoc responsibilities including but not limited to developing and maintaining project documents and schedules, preparing project-related reports, coordinating project meetings and workshop requirements, and implementing and monitoring project plans.
  • Source, collate, and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinating with 3rd party vendors, subcontractors, and supply chain management to ensure successful management of vendors and orders, ensuring sharing of information for relayed project execution.
  • Project Management of Inventory Builds and Manufactured/Sales Reports.
  • Ensuring close-out of projects, participation in AAR and lessons learned.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of all OPG forms, work instructions, and processes.
  • This role consists of both on-site (out of office/offshore) and office-based duties, generally speaking, the applicant interested in this role should assume 50% offshore time for this position.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical engineering skills and experience in project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project management, engineering, workshop teams, and supporting services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain budgets and make adjustments according to needs as they arise.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
