Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this role reflects a nationwide market range and encompasses a wide spectrum of salaries for this position across the country. The actual salary will be influenced by various factors, including the role's scope, complexity, and location; the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience; as well as other employment conditions. Our comprehensive compensation and benefits program also includes eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?

At Travelers, our Enterprise Operations teams enhance customer and agent experiences, drive revenue growth, and promote a culture of innovation and efficiency throughout the organization. The Premium Audit division is tasked with performing audits on property & casualty commercial lines policies to determine appropriate classifications, exposures, and premium bases, in compliance with company, industry, and state regulations. As a Senior Premium Auditor, you will execute complex audits with minimal supervision. Additionally, you may mentor less experienced auditors. Audits may be conducted virtually and/or in-person.

This position is fully remote and may involve a combination of mobile work and/or work from your primary residence.

The geographical area for this position will encompass specific regions and surrounding areas.

What Will You Do?

Execute audits of moderate to highly complex Commercial Lines policies (e.g., Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Auto, etc.) through interviews, reviews, and verification of the client's business operations to ascertain proper classifications. Analyze financial/accounting records, including payroll, tax returns, general and expense ledgers, etc., to determine final exposures. Communicate audit findings to clients, agents/brokers, and business partners (primarily underwriting) to ensure clarity regarding changes in premium exposures. Cultivate relationships with clients, agents/brokers, underwriters, and other internal business partners. Stay updated on changes and current information related to premium auditing through various internal and external resources. May provide mentorship to less experienced auditors. May be assigned special projects, presentations, etc., at management's discretion. May represent the company in routine court proceedings. Perform additional duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

Bachelor's degree. A minimum of three years of Premium Audit experience, including auditing various types of property and casualty commercial lines policies. Completion of APA 91 and 92. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to clients, agents/brokers, and business partners. Excellent analytical skills to conduct audits efficiently and effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

What is a Must Have?

High school diploma/GED. Two years of Premium Audit or related experience. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
