Job Title: Data Analytics and AI Solutions Lead

Mizuho Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analytics and AI Solutions Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable AI and data analytics solutions that address business challenges and ensure both business and technical requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable AI and data analytics solutions that address business challenges and ensure both business and technical requirements are met.
  • Proactively identify and discover high-impact business opportunities in data analytics and AI.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to uncover new areas where data-drive technology can deliver business values, whether through operational efficiency, revenue growth, or competitive differentiation.
  • Ensure that data analytics and AI solutions include governance, monitoring, and performance optimization to mitigate operational risks.
  • Continuously evaluate technological advancements to ensure that solutions leverage the best practices.
  • Design data analytics and AI solutions using cloud platforms for scalability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, technology partners.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program and project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of AI and ML technologies and their application in financial services preferred.
  • Expertise in data analytics and AI solution architecture.
  • Proficient in AI and ML fields.
  • Deep understanding of financial products, markets, and investment banking operations.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering AI and data analytics solutions that impact business outcomes.
  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to develop and implement a vision for data analytics and AI capabilities that aligns with Mizuho business goals.
  • Deep experience in discovering business opportunities in data analytics and AI leading to high-impact projects for innovation and growth.
  • Working knowledge in cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics and AI solution architecture with minimum of 4 years in a leadership role (Director or equivalent).
