We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance team at Neuberger Berman as a Data Analytics and Solutions Lead with a focus on client billing and sales compensation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, process improvement, and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques on billing and compensation data to identify trends and insights and deliver data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decision-making on enhancements and new operating models.
- Document and articulate complex client billing and sales compensation processes clearly and identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices while enhancing commercial outcomes.
- Lead initiatives to drive technology-enabled process optimization and automation and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of projects from inception to completion and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics and be responsible for stakeholder management and communications around project status.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience, preferably within the asset management industry.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills and experience working on and managing cross-functional projects.
- Basic accounting experience preferred and advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau) and project management tools.
- Ability to work with large data sets and complex formulas and familiarity with billing software and financial systems.
- Experience with AI / machine learning tools is a plus, enabling the candidate to leverage cutting-edge technologies for process innovation and efficiency gains.
- High level of independence and self-motivation and ability to work creatively, strategically, and analytically to problem-solve.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex concepts into digestible pieces and strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
The salary range for this role is $140,000-$160,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
