About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club. As a Nurse Circulator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
  • Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns during the procedure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Minimum two years of previous OR experience.
  • Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
  • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurses.
