Job Title: Permits Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permits Coordinator to join our team at Us Electric LLC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and document the permit process for every application, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documents to secure permits in a timely manner.
  • Data entry and record-keeping related to filing permit applications, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Submit permit packets to local municipalities and follow up on pending jobs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Navigate through scheduling software to update permit status, tracking progress and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Ability to function autonomously and efficiently, working independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader is a plus, as well as knowledge of the permitting process in New Jersey or past experience working with NJ municipalities.
