As a critical care provider, you will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations of patients, assisting medical personnel, and providing efficient transportation to medical facilities. Your duties will include:

**Patient Care**

* Conduct a careful examination of the patient for signs and symptoms of illness/injury
* Assist other medical personnel as necessary
* Provide prompt and efficient interfacility transport of patients

**Vehicle Maintenance**

* Perform daily checks of the vehicle equipment and systems
* Report deficiencies as necessary
* Maintain knowledge of the vehicle's equipment and its proper use

**Certification and Training**

* Maintain respective state and national certification
* Attend mandatory review meetings and other required company meetings

**Requirements**

* Currently licensed State of Michigan Basic EMT
* Current BCLS Card
* Ability to function around seriously ill or injured people in a responsible manner
* Complete knowledge of protocols and their applications

**Physical Demands**

* Ability to stand, walk, sit, operate motor vehicle, balance, work at heights, climb stairs, twist / turn, bend / stoop, crouch / squat, kneel / crawl
* Lifting includes occasionally lifting 100 lbs with or without assistance
