Position Summary
As a Mammography Imaging Technician at ONE STEP DIAGNOSTIC, you will operate under the supervision of a Radiologist, utilizing your specialized skills to produce high-quality mammographic images that are essential for breast health screening and diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educational Background: Must have graduated from an accredited Radiology Technology program, with a focus on Mammography training and certification.
  • Licensure Requirements: Hold a valid license in the state of Texas and be registered with the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R). Mammography certification (ARRT-M) is required.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience in Mammography within the last three years is essential.
  • CPR Certification: Current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) for Healthcare Workers is necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Must be knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Infection Control Practices: Adhere to Infection Control protocols, Standard Precautions, and OSHA standards relevant to healthcare settings.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment: Ability to utilize necessary personal protective equipment, including face masks, goggles, and gloves.
  • Collaborative Skills: Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes.
  • Communication Proficiency: Capable of effectively reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Medical Knowledge: Familiarity with medical and surgical terminology is required.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with the ability to stand for extended periods and discern colors accurately.
