Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based assignment in Nashville, TN. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with students and support their speech and language development.

Assignment Details
  • Caseload of approximately 25 students
  • 7 hours a day, 4 days a week
  • ASAP start - End of School year
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • ASHA certified applicants preferred
  • Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology License
Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Participate in the IEP process, or eligibility meetings for new referrals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
