Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Stellar Therapy Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of students, in collaboration with school staff and parents.
  • Provide consultation and training services to teachers and other educational professionals to improve their understanding of communication disorders and how to support student development.
  • Document and maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans, according to school policies and professional standards.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-based meetings to collaborate with colleagues and ensure that the students' needs are addressed.
  • Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in communication disorders, and integrate this knowledge into the practice to improve services and outcomes for students.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Experience working with children with communication disorders in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written.
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in communication disorders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
