About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at HonorHealth. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front and back office support to professional staff, including escorting patients to exam rooms and maintaining clean and well-stocked exam rooms.
  • Assist with referrals and prior authorizations, and provide quality phone service by scheduling patients or referring callers to the appropriate party.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, charts, and paperwork.
  • Perform a variety of clerical support duties, including receptionist, telephone, scheduling, message management, and data input.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to improve patient satisfaction and create better communication and access to care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a MA training program required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
