Electrical Superintendent Job Description

Stellar Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead our electrical team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the installation, wiring, and testing of electrical components of chilled water systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical installation, with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing personnel and a track record of ensuring high-quality standards are met. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of industrial transformer, LVMCC, HVMCC, and other electrical gear are essential.

The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing project and sub-contractor schedules
  • Implementing and maintaining Competent Persons training
  • Establishing cost estimation and selecting manpower accordingly
  • Coordinating quality checks
  • Implementing and monitoring safety procedures
  • Seeking to identify improved methods of production and safety

Additional responsibilities include preparing for ISO 9001 and other audits, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong decision-making ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Travel is primarily not required, with the exception of local travel during the business day.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 10+ years of experience in electrical installation, and a valid driver's license. A clean background check and random drug screening consent are also required.
