Senior Mechanical Engineer - Energy Efficiency Specialist

Harrison Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our energy efficiency initiatives in Philadelphia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting energy audits, identifying opportunities for energy savings, and developing strategies to reduce energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead energy audits of buildings and identify potential energy efficiency opportunities
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency strategies to reduce energy consumption
  • Conduct energy modeling and analysis to determine energy baseline and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and develop customized solutions
  • Mentor and train junior staff to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency industry, including energy engineering and energy modeling
  • PE License preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry, lighting, and Building Automation System (BAS) controls
  • Proficiency in design/energy simulation software (Revit, Energy Gauge, IES VE, HAP, TRACE)
