Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Amada America, Inc. as a Bending Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of their Amada Press Brakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control system issues, as well as network problems.
  • Installation and Training: Able to precisely follow layout drawings and blueprints to install equipment, and provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation, application, and programming of Amada machines.
  • Customer Support: Excellent customer relations and follow-through skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Travel and Logistics: Regular travel within assigned territories, with occasional overnight stays, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform routine maintenance tasks, including the use of hand tools and climbing.
Requirements
  • Education: A 4-year degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2-year degree with related work experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to analyze and repair complex systems, use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope, and possess working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
  • Language: Ability to communicate in the English language, with the option to communicate in Spanish.
