Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing sonography procedures to diagnose medical conditions. You will work closely with radiologists to assist with biopsy and drainage procedures, adhering to departmental protocols and established standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sonography procedures to diagnose medical conditions
  • Assist radiologists with biopsy and drainage procedures
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and established standards of practice
  • Perform high-level disinfection of probes
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor reflective of medical ethics
  • Assess, monitor, and provide appropriate patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registry eligibility (registry must be completed within 9 months of hire)
  • OR ARRT registry with ultrasound credential
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
