Position Overview
As an Automation Systems Technician, you will be responsible for executing assigned system commissioning tasks utilizing Johnson Controls' specialized configuration and commissioning tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolution of fundamental HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- Address basic warranty inquiries effectively.

Execution of Duties
- Load software for system-level controllers and perform essential commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices, including sensors and actuators, while ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain clear communication with management and JCI contractors or customers regarding job progress and any arising issues.
- Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.
- Complete administrative responsibilities, such as time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
- Document modifications and provide information for as-built documentation.
- Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and prior to leaving the work site.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in mandatory safety training.

Safety Commitment
Demonstrate a high level of commitment to the safety of employees and subcontractors.

Qualifications
Required:
- Proven technical aptitude.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly with Windows.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and listening abilities.
- Depending on location, specific licensing may be required for the mounting and termination of low voltage devices.

Preferred:
- A minimum of two years' experience in the installation of electronic and/or mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems.
